Moral of the story, don't install updates if you aren't planning to kill all your application and reboot.

Lonely Broken Idols..

I got to watch bits n pieces of American Idol today, and having watched throngs of William Hung wannabes squack and screech in front of the equally talentless panel of judges, I wondered if many of the rejected contestants had any family or friends at all.

If I sucked as bad as some of them did, I would at least expect someone close to me to have the balls to tell me that. I would expect them to punch me in the face, smash a baseball bat into my head, heck, anything to stop me from getting my act on the air. I can't imagine that these folks do this just to be on TV. The lines are too long, and the eventual humiliation too intense for anyone to put themselves through such embarassment. Certainly these must be demented people, with little or no grasp on reality.
